Austin City Limits Fest Outfit Inspo

It’s almost here! Austin City Limits Music Fest! To be honest, I’m a little late to hop on the festival train, but ever since I attended Coachella this past Spring, I am totally on board. I now fully embrace the festival culture. Especially the wardrobe that goes along with it. I am a total sucker for the effortless, cool girl, boho chic look, á la Vanessa Hudgens, looking like a festival goddess. I love pairing denim shorts with flowy tops, ankle boots, and layering on the jewelry and accessories. And by all means BRING. ON. THE. FRINGE.

I loved pairing this light off the shoulder bell sleeve top with distressed high waisted denim shorts. I felt like the light flowy fabric of the top balanced out the edginess of the shorts. I then had a blast piling on the jewelry, adding a sick vintage belt (via my mom’s closet), rounded sunnies, a fringe crossbody bag, topping it all off with a hat, and viola! Now I have the perfect boho chic look and am ready to slay at ACL!

Be sure to stay tuned on the blog and my social media for more ACL outfit posts coming this week!

What are some of your favorite festival looks and accessories? Are you going to ACL this weekend? If so, who are you most excited to see? Let me know in the comments below!

So the romper obsession is too real! Rompers are my go to this season and here’s why. They are easy, stylish, and perfect for any occasion. Yesterday I posted a casual off the shoulder tropical romper from American Threads, which was a perfect day time look. I’ve teamed up again with American Threads to style this little black romper (or LBR, as I like to call it), a trendy, updated take on the LBD. I styled this romper with flat Fendi sandals in a bright pattern for a pop of color, my favorite Lack of Color hat, and my tan Gucci backpack, which was great for a day of shopping in the Bahamas. This romper is so chic and elegant that it can be dressed up with heels and a clutch for a night out. Which is exactly why I love rompers. They are so versatile! To shop this look and more incredible rompers, dresses, and clothing head over to

Vacation Romper

This summer I got an awesome opportunity to collaborate with American Threads. If you haven’t shopped the site yet you’re missing out! American Threads offers a huge variety of super trendy women’s clothing, dresses, rompers, and accessories at affordable price points. While working with them I got to choose two incredible rompers that I completely fell in love with, so I decided to bring them on vacation with me. I, along with my 2 rompers, headed out to the Bahamas last week and had a fabulous time hitting the beach, shopping (of course), and exploring the beautiful islands. This tropical off the shoulder romper was absolutely perfect for a day relaxing poolside and one of my favorite pieces from the site. You can shop this look and more on

Summer Vacation

imageHello y’all! It has been a minute since I’ve last posted. I have been nonstop traveling all summer long! I went on a weekend long photoshoot in Marfa, Texas to take tons of summer outfit posts for the blog. Then I went to Miami for a friend’s bachelorette party, which was incredible! We went to the beach all day and the clubs all night. Now I have a few days in San Antonio before I head out to Las Vegas for a few days.

But before I go I want to share my beach essentials with you! I received an absolutely stunning swimsuit from Bikini Bunny Boutique that I will be wearing all summer long! Bikini Bunny Boutique carries gorgeous, luxury swimsuits in so many fabulous colors and styles, perfect to wear day or night at the pool or beach. I absolutely love the bikini I got. The asymmetrical straps make it so unique and flattering. I have never received so many compliments from a swimsuit in my life. If you are looking for a truly unique swimsuit this summer, Bikini Bunny Boutique will not disappoint.

Coachella Weekend 2 Recap

I did it y’all! I traveled from deep in the heart of Texas all the way to the desert! Yup, that’s right, I went to COACHELLA! And it was everythinggg (and then some)! If you followed along on snapchat (@chicintheHOT) then you know just how much fun I had. But ICYMI don’t worry, I won’t make you suffer through the FOMO. I’m recapping a few of my favorite moments right here, right now.

The on-site luxury Safari tent we stayed in definitely lived up to the hype (and the sky high price tag). At $7,000 a piece, these beautifully designed tents included 2 queen sized beds, wood floors, A/C units, a mini fridge, 24/7 concierge service, complimentary breakfast, dinner and snacks, a beautiful lounge area with a full bar and DJ, golf cart rides to and from all stages, access to the VIP area and even more exclusive Artist Lounge (that is crawling with artists and celebs), complimentary hair salon visits, massages, and facials. All of these amenities made life in the hot desert environment for the long weekend so much easier. I can honestly say that it was worth every penny.image

There were several “Houses” at Coachella. This one was the Pandora House, Sponsored by Pandora Jewelry. It was one of the few air conditioned places in the festival. It was a nice place to escape the crowds and heat. It was beautifully decorated and had photobooths and free wifi. There were also vendors selling Pandora Jewelry.image

La Grande Wheel. An absolute must at Coachella!image

There were hundreds of food vendors selling everything from gourmet hotdogs, to ice cream, to sushi. These garlic crab fries were by far my favorite! Delicious!image

It’s definitely safe to say I had the best time at Coachella. There’s really nothing else like it. From the fashion to the gorgeous scenery, pool parties, and amazing artists. It really is a culture all of its own that brings out every element of a good time. #festivalvibes

Until next time, Coachella!
